2 Day Camps             Cost $195

Derek will be offering some pole vault camps during the month of March and possibly April in Vermillion, South Dakota.  The University of South Dakota has brand new Olympic size pole vaulting pits and a wide selection of training equipment that will be utilized to demonstrate and teach every aspect of the pole vault.  Each camp will focus on safety and provide one on one attention throughout.  Numbers will be limited to allow for extensive individualized coaching.  Help securing lodging for campers and parents can be arranged. Transportation to training and all camp functions will be taken care of.

Camps will begin around noon on day one and end late afternoon on day 2.  Campers need to bring jump shoes, training shoes, and practice apparel.  Any additional equipment (chalk, sticky, etc.) campers use on a regular basis should be brought as well.   All other items can be provided at the camp.  

Entertainment in the form of videos of professional pole vaulters both women and men, as well as blockbuster movies in Derek's home theatre will be provided for those campers who would like to hang out "talk shop" and relax after camp concludes on day 1.
